The Deputy Governor’s stance was reinforced in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Friday Aghedo, in which he assured citizens that the administration remains united and focused on governance.
Commitment to Good Governance
Idahosa reiterated the administration’s dedication to delivering impactful policies and developmental projects aimed at improving the lives of Edo residents. He urged the public to remain vigilant against misinformation and to focus on the progressive strides being made by the current government.
“First, let me dispel the rumour making rounds that there is a rift between me and my principal, Governor Monday Okpebholo. This is far from the truth. Mischief-makers are behind this false narrative, as my relationship with the Governor remains most cordial. I also appreciate my principal for finding me worthy to serve as his deputy.”
He further extended appreciation to the Edo Parliament of Nigeria, recognizing their contributions and pledging continued collaboration.
“We will need your support and prayers. Many of you are professionals, and when we require your contributions, ideas, and suggestions, we trust you will be there for us.”
