
The Offa Students Union National Headquarters, in collaboration with the Office of the Vice President 2 (Comr. Hawau Suleiman) and Social Directress (Comr Ibrahim Bashir), successfully held its inaugural Hangout Volume 1 event on June 12, 2025. The event, themed “Reviving our Heritage, Uniting Our Future,” brought together students from neighboring towns, including Oyun Students Union.
Keynote Lecture.

The highlight of the event was a keynote lecture delivered by Comr. Abiola Azeez Babatunde, popularly known as Adigun MRM, and Deputy Coordinator of NANS Zone C. In his lecture, Comr. Babatunde emphasized the importance of unity among students, praising the Offa Students Union for organizing such a program. He urged the students to continue with the event and stressed the need to embrace their shared heritage as indigenes of Offa, without discrimination.
Association President’s Remarks

The Association President, Comr. Mustapha Taye Abdul Basit, expressed gratitude to all participants and wished everyone a safe journey back to their destinations.
Call to Action.

In an exclusive interview, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the organization, Comr. Abbas Toheeb Olasunkanmi, extended an invitation to students of Offa and Oyun indigenes who have not yet joined the association. Event Attendance.

The event was well-attended by Oyun Students Association National Headquarters and all Offa Students Union Local Chapters. As a student association uniting Offa and Oyun students across Nigerian institutions, OFFA Students Union aims to foster a sense of community and promote the welfare of its members.
