The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has confirmed the successful resolution of a labour dispute with the Kenya Aviation Workers Union (KAWU), bringing to an end concerns over a potential strike that could have disrupted airport operations across the country.
The agreement was reached after a series of constructive and collaborative discussions that brought together KAA, KAWU, and relevant government ministries. As a result, KAWU has officially called off the strike notice it had issued earlier, averting a crisis in the aviation sector.
