The Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State, played host to a significant milestone in the life of Lions International, The Federal Polytechnic Offa LEO Club, as the club held its Fund Raising Luncheon and Public Presentation of LEO ADERIBIGBE ELIJAH as the 24th Club President and Installation of other Club Officers.
The event, which took place Today [9th, February, 2025] At ICE LR 01 THE FEDRAL POLYTECHNIC OFFA KWARA STATE, was attended by dignitaries, members of the LEO Club, and well-wishers from within and outside the institution. The ceremony marked the beginning of a new era for the club, as LEO ADERIBIGBE ELIJAH SUNDAY took the reins as the new President.
In his inaugural speech, President LEO ADERIBIGBE ELIJAH SUNDAY expressed his gratitude to the outgoing administration and promised to take the club to greater heights during his tenure. He urged the other officers to cooperate and work harmoniously with him to achieve the club’s objectives.
President LEO ADERIBIGBE ELIJAH SUNDAY also highlighted the importance of the LEO Club’s roles in the institution and the community at large. He emphasized the club’s commitment to community service, leadership development, and youth empowerment. Additionally, he offered words of advice to upcoming LEO members, encouraging them to remain dedicated, focused, and committed to the club’s ideals.
The installation ceremony was conducted by LEO KAYODE SIMON AYOADE (100%P, LAH, NLEF) District President 404B2, 2024-2025, who charged the new President and his team to work tirelessly to promote the interests of the club and its members.
The event also featured a fund-raising luncheon, which aimed to support the club’s community service projects and activities.
The Federal Polytechnic Offa LEO Club is the youth activity of the LagosEko Lions Club, District 404B2, and has been actively involved in various community service projects, including environmental conservation, health awareness, and educational support programs.
With the installation of President LEO ADERIBIGBE ELIJAH SUNDAY and his team, the club is poised to continue its good work and make a positive impact on the institution and the community.
