The Enugu State Chapter of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has commended Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for what it described as his “remarkable developmental strides” within the first two years of his administration.
In a mid-term scorecard released on Thursday, IPAC praised Governor Mbah for his transformative infrastructure projects, policy reforms, and economic vision, stating that his performance so far has been “nothing short of excellent.”
The statement, jointly signed by Hon. Obioma Nnamani, IPAC Chairman, and Hon. Afam Ani, IPAC Secretary, passed a vote of confidence in the governor and his administration.
“Your performance has been nothing short of excellent,” the statement read. “From transformative infrastructure projects to bold policy reforms and a clear vision for economic growth, you have demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment to the advancement of Enugu State.”
While commending the governor’s achievements, IPAC also used the opportunity to call for more inclusive governance, urging the administration to engage all political parties and stakeholders in the governance process moving forward.
“As the elections are now behind us and governance takes center stage, IPAC, in its advisory capacity, recommends a broader embrace of inclusive governance. We urge you, as the father of the state, to expand the involvement of all political parties and stakeholders in the administration,” the council stated.
According to IPAC, this inclusive approach will help foster unity, deepen democratic participation, and ensure the governor’s developmental agenda benefits all corners of the state.
The council concluded with a call for continued collaboration in the interest of progress and stability in Enugu State.
“Long live Enugu State. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” the statement concluded.
