Kenya Airways Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Allan Kilavuka, alongside Chief Operating Officer George Kamal, on Tuesday hosted the Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Kenya, H.E. Luis Levit, and First Secretary Demian Dobry, for discussions aimed at strengthening aviation ties between the two countries.
The talks explored opportunities for collaboration, with a key highlight being the planned delivery of two Boeing 737-800 aircraft, currently operated by Aerolíneas Argentinas and leased from a lessor, which are expected to join Kenya Airways’ fleet in the second and third quarters of 2026.
Both parties emphasized the importance of initiating a bilateral air services agreement between Kenya and Argentina. Such a pact would open the door for codeshare partnerships, enhanced connectivity, and the exchange of operational expertise between the two nations’ aviation sectors.
Kenya Airways reaffirmed its commitment to building global partnerships that enhance customer experience and position the airline as Africa’s preferred and sustainable aviation group.
