Nigerian billionaire and businessman Obinna Iyiegbu, widely known as Obi Cubana, is preparing for a grand celebration as he approaches his 50th birthday in the coming days.
Marking the beginning of April, the entrepreneur shared a video on Instagram, dressed in traditional Igbo attire, as he reflected on his journey and expressed gratitude for his health and well-being.
Acknowledging the significance of the milestone, Obi Cubana thanked God for allowing him to witness the month and spoke optimistically about the days ahead. He also extended appreciation to his wife, Ebele Iyiegbu, whom he described as his biggest supporter.
“April is here; hurray! Grateful to God for making us see this beautiful month of April in good health and sound mind,” he wrote, adding that the month would bring blessings to all.
His wife, Ebele, responded in the comment section, expressing excitement about the upcoming occasion. “The month I celebrate the most amazing human being,” she wrote.
Obi Cubana became a nationwide sensation in 2021 after hosting an elaborate burial ceremony for his late mother in Oba, Anambra State. The extravagant event, which featured over 200 cows gifted by friends, attracted high-profile figures, including business tycoons, pop stars like Davido, D’banj, KCee, and E-Money, as well as Nollywood actors Kanayo O. Kanayo, Alexx Ekubo, and Williams Uchemba. The lavish celebration dominated headlines for weeks, further solidifying his reputation as a prominent figure in Nigeria’s social and business circles.
